Konomi, a festival that promotes Japanese culture and aesthetics, dotted around Basel (CH) since 2023, is back with many restaurants and bars participating, showcasing a taste of Japan.
As part of this year's festival, Cindy Bissig showcases 3 captivating works as part of her long-term project 'beyond sake' that offer a glimpse into the world of one of Kyoto’s oldest sake breweries.
Through her lens as a sake professional, photographer, and storyteller, Cindy captures the beauty, deep tradition, and unconventional spirit of Masuda Tokubee Shoten, now celebrating 350 years of craftsmanship.
